Dear All,

I am part of the Guildford Giants Rugby League committee and we are trying to recruit new players for our ladies team. Currently there is an open age men's team and youth teams, and we are currently trying to set up a ladies league team. We were able to organise a game with the ladies league team in Southampton, which was a lot of fun and successful in getting women interested in playing rugby league. Next season we are entering our first team to play in division 1 against teams such as Southampton, Hemel Hempstead and West London Sharks.

We currently train with the men in Guildford twice a week, but we are aiming to get our own coach for the ladies as the numbers increase, we currently have a female coach who is enthusiastic to help. The season will run from about May until September.

If you are aware of ladies teams or ladies who may be interested in playing if you could forward on my e-mail address I would be very happy to answer any questions they have.

Kind regards,

Lisa McNamara

Trafford MV is a brill club and is always looking for new players of both Rugby and Cricket.
We enjoy our sports but we also enjoy a pint and a good song or two!
We have 3 regular sides but hope to field a 4th XV once we get Salford and Manchester Uni students back in October.
We have loads of Mini's and juniors too playing on Sunday mornings.
If you are interested in playing for Trafford MV then give WILF a call on 01942 884542 / 07771 913994 or google us on www.pitchero/clubs/traffordmv
Cheers,
Wilf

I live in Bedminster and want to start playing rugby, I was wondering what the procedure was for joining a club like Broad Plain. I am reasonably inexperienced in rugby and was looking to take it up as I do love the sport. Who could I get hold of in order to enquire about this? This club is the best location for me, I would like to find out sbout training evenings etc.

Thanks
